Worcester Children’s Chorus has five choral ensembles, offering age-appropriate instruction for singers ranging in age from 8 through 18. Artistic staff place children appropriately based on their audition. In the younger choirs, there will be some age/grade overlap, based upon a child’s previous musical experiences.
Auditions are held at Assumption University. All children and youth ages 8-18 (min 3rd grade) interested in joining the choir are required to audition. Complete the Audition Form to schedule your audition. We offer spring, late summer and January audition dates and will also happily audition on request. An audition with our directors is an encouraging, low-key experience and an opportunity to meet our artistic staff. They take great care to ensure that each singer is placed in the ensemble that best suits their ability level so they can sing, shine, and soar!
